Tennessee has no shortage of natural wonders, and if your summer travel plans include climbing, hiking, or just soaking up some fresh air, you have quite a few possible destinations to visit. And to make sure you can go wherever you need to, Nissan of Cookeville is featuring these models perfect to take on an outdoor adventure:

Pathfinder

Planning to bring a big group on your trip? Whether it’s friends or family, you will want to make sure that everyone will fit comfortably in your vehicle, and this is one area in which the Nissan Pathfinder excels. With three rows, up to seven people can fit, and you can make the ride even nicer by upgrading to things like leather upholstery and heated and ventilated front seats. If you won’t need to fill every seat, putting the second row down will give you 47.4 cubic feet of room to work with. To make loading all of your stuff easier, a hands-free liftgate is another available feature.

Frontier

If your trip will involve towing something like a boat or trailer, the Nissan Frontier is an excellent choice. This truck comes standard with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine that delivers 152 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque, but you may want to consider the 4.0-liter V6 that generates 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. When it’s properly equipped, the Frontier has a towing capacity of 6,720 pounds. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is available.

Murano

Will your travels involve being on the road for long stretches? Then you will want to stay on the road and not have to keep veering off to get gas. With the Nissan Murano, you won’t have to worry about this, as it gets 28 mpg for highway driving. Plus, it has a very comfortable and roomy interior and comes with an assortment of standard tech features. These include four USB ports, Bluetooth®, the NissanConnect® infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ connectivity.
