Get to Know the 2019 Nissan Altima

At Nissan of Cookeville, we always have a big selection of new and used sedans, and one of our featured models is the Nissan Altima. There’s been a lot of buzz about this vehicle for a while now, and here’s why.

Power

The base engine in the Nissan Altima has a nice little kick to it and offers good acceleration. It’s a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder unit that generates 188 horsepower. There’s also a turbocharged 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine that will give you 248 horsepower. Both come with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Fuel Economy

One of the standout features in the Nissan Altima is its gas mileage. With the base model, you will get 28 mpg for city driving and 39 mpg on the highway. Those numbers only go down a little with the 2.0-liter engine: 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

Comfort

There’s a lot of space inside the 2019 Nissan Altima, and five people will have no problem fitting. There are also Zero Gravity front seats, which are especially nice for long drives. Cloth upholstery is standard as is an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Upgrades include leather heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Tech

Love the latest tech? Then you’ll love what you will find in the Nissan Altima. Bluetooth®, SiriusXM® satellite radio, four USB ports, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity are all standard. You can also get navigation, a moonroof, and a rearview camera.

Safety

Traction control, brake assist, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking are all standard safety features in the 2019 Nissan Altima. There are also several available features, such as blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.
