A used Nissan is a great choice if you’re looking for a quality vehicle at an affordable price. However, it’s not your only option when it comes to non-new cars. Instead, you can always go with a certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle.

In order to get the CPO designation, these cars can’t be older than six years and can’t have more than 80,000 miles on the odometer. They also need to pass a rigorous 167-point inspection, which gives them several benefits over regular used models.

Extensive Warranty

Every CPO Nissan model comes with a seven-year/100,000-mile Lifetime Limited Non-Factory warranty. This covers more than 600 parts and components, including the drivetrain, engine, and transmission. Plus, you don’t need to pay for parts or labor; the only expense is a $50 deductible per visit.

Extra Coverage

For more protection, you can get the Security Plus Extended Protection Plan. This covers an extra 1,300 parts, including the suspension system, brakes, steering, and audio and video components. You can get this coverage for seven years (100,000 miles) or eight years (12,000 miles). Plus, there is no deductible for all covered repairs.

CARFAX® Report

All CPO Nissan models come with a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. This will tell you all about the previous owners, service records, inspection results, accident history, and much more. This also comes with a three-year buy-back guarantee.

Roadside Assistance

For the life of your seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, you will be able to get 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for things like a tire change or jump-start, which won’t cost you anything. If your car will need a tow, it will be brought to the closest Nissan dealership or authorized service center for free. You can also get money for rental cars.
