Music 
 
You can’t talk about Nashville without mentioning music—country music, specifically. Aside from the Grand Ole Opry, which is a must-see for any country fan, there are several other spots to visit as well, including the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  
 
You also don’t want to miss the Johnny Cash Museum and the National Museum of African American Music to learn about some of the greatest performers in modern music. 
 
History 
 
If you’re a history buff or you want to learn more about the area, there are plenty of places to do so.  
 
Start by driving your Nissan SUV to the Tennessee Museum to learn about our state’s natural history, as well as its place in American history. Then, head over to the Hermitage, which is the home of President Andrew Jackson.  
 
There are also numerous historic estates to visit, such as the Belmont Mansion, which was built in the mid-1800s. 
 
Nature 
 
Want to get outside for a while? You’ll find many places to soak up the sun around Nashville, and you’ll maybe even see some interesting things in the process.  
 
The Shelby Bottoms Nature Center & Greenway is a gorgeous spot to do some walking or biking. As for spotting wildlife, you’ll need to take a trip to Radnor Lake State Park. We also can’t forget to mention the fantastic Nashville Zoo at Grassmere.
